Welcome to the Crooked Oaks Blog

Crooked Oaks was born out of a love for the outdoors, a passion for people and a strong sense of community. What started out as private property has since opened up into a space for friends, family and fellowship nestled in natural beauty of pines and pasture that make up our Sweet Home Alabama—and life sure is sweet at Crooked Oaks! As a lodge, venue, and outfitter, our goal is to facilitate our guests’ need for everything from weekend hunting escapes to the most important days of their lives. As an extension of our service to our customers, want to introduce you to the new Crooked Oaks Blog. Welcome!

About Crooked Oaks

At Crooked Oaks, our Southern roots run deep. Auburn University football coaching legend Pat Dye invites you to take a break from the pressures of life at Crooked Oaks, a lodge, hunting and venue space located 20 minutes from downtown Auburn, Alabama in rural Notasulga. At Crooked Oaks, we offer the following, each served up with a side of Southern hospitality:

  • Guided quail hunts;
  • Accommodations at our rustic hunting lodge and cozy cabins;
  • Event space for corporate retreats, parties, family reunions and more;
  • Wedding venue space, including bridal teas, rehearsal dinners ceremonies and receptions;
  • Japanese maple nursery featuring more than 200 varieties.

At Crooked Oaks, our goal is to help you relax and enjoy the outdoors as a part of our extended family!
